 Raindrop Woman Association visited congress and House of Representatives in Austin. State Representative from district 131 Dr. Alma Allen greeted ladies of Raindrop Women Association .Dr. Allen introduced Turkish women representing Turkish Community and Raindrop Turkish House’s activities in Houston to House of Representatives. We would like to thank Dr. Alma Allen , El Paso Representative Mr. Inocente Quintenella , Anna Vogel (chief of staff), Seth ( Intern), Christian (Senate tour guide). (April 14,2009)

Raindrop Turkish House is an educational, charitable, social and cultural organization and now it operates in six states: Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Raindrop also offers educational services such as Turkish and English classes, Turkish Cuisine Cooking classes, music classes, seminars and international conferences. Raindrop also helps the needy through its charity organization Helping Hands. Raindrop organizes Breakfast & Morning conversations, which is a series of public conversations that draw together diverse minds to discuss critical issues and engage in cooperative social action.
