Luncheon series III

Raindrop Women Association held its third luncheon, bringing together Joan Perry-Austin, RN. and ladies from the Turkish community.  The topic of the event was women and child health.  Mrs. Perry-Austin's answer to one of the questions directed on the secret to staying young was "to keep yourselves and your minds busy at all times".  Her tour of the Raindrop Turkish House left Dr. Perry-Austin impressed with its unique design and fascinating décor. Raindrop Turkish House is an educational, charitable, social and cultural organization and now it operates in six states: Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
