festaus-march-08.jpg  University of Texas (UT) at Austin hosted the first ever Spring Festival, Nowruz. The event's major sponsors were Raindrop Turkish House and Turkic Cultures Student Association in which participation was over 500 spectators. Representative bodies and communities from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan celebrated the rich mosaic of variant cultures and heritages. (March 21, 2008, Austin, TEXAS)
