Houston Turkish Festival, Turkevi, Turkish Cultural Center After the intermission, Mr. Vepa Rejepov talked about importance of science and R&D for wealth of a country and individuals. He also stated that all future wealth creation jobs will be depended brains. Namely, raw materials of tomorrow's world are knowledge and information so will be the final good. Dr. Kamil Erkan from SMU, talked about science and religion, after the lunch. Dr. Erkan talked about science and religion as two wings of a bird which are complementary to each other. Mr. Bayram Saparov, PhD student of Delaware University focused on the issue of keeping your identity. He also noted that keeping identity does not mean nationalism but it will contribute to pluralism and cultural mosaic of a United States. Another PhD candidate from Stamford University, Mr. Bezirgen Weliyev mentioned about procedure of applying to graduate studies. Mr. Bagtiyar Babanazarov, PhD candidate discussed the keeping contact among the students and its importance. Moreover, on the second day of Symposium, young scholars thanked to Raindrop Foundation and requested from organizers to turn symposium into tradition.
