Turkish Cultural Day at Richardson Library |

Richardson Library hosted a Turkish Cultural Day which was organized by Raindrop Turkish House. Program has started at 2 pm with presentation of the Raindrop Turkish House in which Director of Dallas Branch Vepa Rejepov mentioned about mission and purpose of the Foundation. Director Rejepov also mentioned about Conferences, Dialog Dinners, Olympiads and other activities which are mainly organized and sometimes sponsored events. (April 12, 2008, Dallas, Texas)
After having the questions proceeding the presentation, folklore group instructed by Mary Kocaturk performed various dances from different regions of Turkey. Guest singer was the delight of the night and vocalized three beautiful Turkish songs. Before tasting delicious foods audience were asked to dance with the group, in which attendees enjoyed and had fun. Turkish cuisine and coffee were served at the end of the program. Moreover, stands of Turkic countries and Bosnia were also available for visit during the program. Richardson Library was expecting around sixty people but, there were almost hundred have interested in the program. Audience thanked for Raindrop Turkish House making such a night possible.
