Raindrop Turkevi invites you to a performance of Konya Whirling Dervishes

Mevlevi Order has offered spiritual training based on the principles of sufism for seven centuries.It traces back to Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi,one of the greatest mystics and poets the world has ever known.The Mevlevi,or whirling Dervishes,have performed one of the world's most beautiful spiritual ceremonies.The Sema,as it is called,is a precise choreography,a medidation in motion,in which the dervishes are accompanied by a refined and mystical music consisting of flutes,strings,chorus,and percussion.
