Irving Public Library and Raindop Turkevi organized a Cultural Day Print E-mail
irving.jpg      Raindrop Turkevi and Irving Public Library organized a Turkish day. Program has started with a video about Turkey named Discover Turkey. After the video, Director of Dallas Raindrop Turkevi Dr. Edib Ercetin gave an informative speech about activities of the Foundation. Turkish folk dances were presented preceding the speech. During the folk dances, dances invited children and adults to dance together so they can experience dance by themselves. Both kids and adults had fun on the stage. (May, 19, 2007, Dallas,TEXAS)

At the end of the day, Turkish cuisine was served to the attendees. People of Irving enjoyed the program and thanked both Irving library and Raindrop Foundation for such an organization. Adult Services Supervisor of the library, Ms. Chris Dobson has thanked Dr. Edib Ercetin for making this event possible. Dr. Ercetin invited library staff for a lunch or a dinner to talk about future projects.
