 “Spiritual Sounds of Central Asia: Nomads, Mystics, and Troubadours,” provided Houstonian audiences with a rare opportunity to hear music from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Qaraqalpakstan (an autonomous region in Uzbekistan). Concert featured a panoramic range of vocal and instrumental music that showcases some of Central Asia’s finest performers.
The artists, legendary Azerbaijani vocalist Alim Qasimov, whom the French newspaper Le Monde hailed as “one of the most beautiful voices of our era,” and his daughter Fargana; Bardic Divas, four women from Kazakhstan and Qaraqalpakstan who demonstrate the power and beauty of the female voice; and the Badakhshan Ensemble,

DFW Iinternational Dinner Party with Dallas' Mayor Tom Leppert |
 Mayor Tom Leppert addressed the International community in downtown Dallas. Raindrop executives were present at dinner. This dinner brought all international communities together living in DFW Metroplex. Executives of Raindrop Turkevi had a chance to meet members of other communities and had an opportunity to share their experiences. Before the dinner there was a Flag ceremony of the countries from which had members in DFW Metroplex. After the dinner Mayor addressed communities available in the hall. He mentioned importance of diversity both in business and also social life. Flags of the countries were given as a present by each member of the countries, after the speech of the Mayor Tom Leppert.  FBI Community Relation Officer Ronnie Cutlip visited Raindrop Foundation and IID to receive information about activities and programs. with Texas Tech University Lubbock Texas.
Professor William E. Tydeman , Associate Dean in the Southwest Collection, indicated that both institutions
share common goals and have many collaboration opportunities. Yasar Tiryakioglu, Raindrop President, also stated that the affiliation will
help create new forms of synergies between the two institutions and
