 Raindrop Turkish House, Interfaith Dialog, and Kazakh Student Association organized a Nowruz picnic in Stephen C. Beachy Central Park, College Station. Almost 150 people from 10 different nations attended this great event and shared their cultures with the others. The event's major sponsor was Raindrop Turkish House. April Luncheon at Lubbock |
 Lubbock Raindrop Turkevi and Intercultural Dialogue Association at Texas Tech organized the third luncheon of the Spring Semester. In this seminar Dr. Hamed discussed how to determine, articulate and rank goals. Also, how to achieve success through a systematic approach of setting goals.  Lubbock Raindrop Turkish House have been invited by Texas tech university to International Cultural Day , and have represented Turkey culture in this organization very well. In this day, All of the cultures represented their culture and Turkish raindrop have represented traditional Turkish Sark Room. Baglama Concert at Raindrop Turkish House |
 Musician Cenk Kaynak, a famous baglama artist from Turkey, performed for Houstonians in Raindrop Turkish House.Moreover he made a presentation before the performance. Especially the part of the presentation about the music types and their effects on human psycology and physiology was very interesting and informing for the audiance. . The presentation was also including information abut the kinds of music and how it effects out daily life or our mind. What to listen and what not. Experiment which was conducted by Japanese scientist on water crystals was very interesting for the audience.The musician Kaynak performed with his baglama in the second half of the programme.He had a wide repertoire and played reqested ones kindly.  The 9th International Festival at Texas Southern University was held at the courtyard of the Jesse H. Jones School of Business on Wednesday, April 16th, 2008. The main theme of the festival this year was "Out of Africa". The festival included live music, food, fashion parade and many more other entertainments. The chief coordinator of the event Mrs. Hughes at TSU invited Dr. Osman Nal, an assistant professor of finance, from Turkey, to open a table to exhibit Turkish culture and cuisine. Helping Hands for those affected during Mexico Tabasco flood |
 Dear community members, Raindrop Helping Hands once again was there when needed. The Mexico-Tabasco flood help campaign that we started in November 2007 has ended. Thanks to the community's generous donations, we could collect a total of $2,023.13. We owe our greatest gratitude to everyone who donated to this campaign generously. All of the proceeds has been presented to His Excellency Carlos Ignacio Gonzalez Magallon, Consul General of Mexico in Houston. General Coordinator of Raindrop Helping Hands Ali R Candir and Executive Director of Raindrop Turkevi Cemil Teber expressed their sincere feelings to Consul General and how much they feel sorry for those affected during Tabasco flood. Sping Picnic at White Rock Lake |
 Raindrop Turkish House organized a Spring Picnic in White Rock Lake which is one of the beautiful lakes in DFW metroplex. Eventhough the weather was cloudy, over 200 people have came to the picnic. There were members from all communities. Both adults and kids have enjoyed fresh air with barbeque. Kids have played on a playground more than two hours and adults had a chance to talk about diverse issues. One man from Chinese community in Dallas expressed his appreciation to Raindrop Turkish House and asked questions about how Raindrop can addresses such a diverse community.
