St. Agnes Students Visited Raindrop Turkish House |
 Freshmen from St Agnes Academy were at Raindrop Turkish House. Thursday morning Turkish House was very busy with students and teachers. A group of St Agnes students visited Turkish House, had freshly brewed Turkish tea, took a tour of the building and watched two presentations on Turkey and Turkish culture. Students enriched the visit with their intelligent questions. Students later tasted extremely delicious cookies baked by our dear friend Sonya Nova. Students also visited the rooms decorated with Turkish furniture and paintings. Both Raindrop staff and St Agnes team were happy with the visit and exchanged good wishes and further visits. Bright students of St Agnes were even able to make up a sentence in Turkish at the end of the visit. (February 20, 2009, Houston, TX) |

Raindrop organizes Breakfast & Morning conversations, which is a series of public conversations that draw together diverse minds to discuss critical issues and engage in cooperative social action.
