Raindrop welcomes the Hon. Paul Lynch, HM Consul General of the United Kingdom

Raindrop Turkish House welcomed the Hon. Paul Lynch, Consul General of the United Kingdom at a Morning Conversation Series. The topic of the conversation was a very important issue, "Climate Change". The Hon. Paul gave a very informative and clear speech about what the Climate Change is and spoke of its three aspects especially: Scientific, its projection to the future and tasks need to be done. He stated that individuals, companies and states need to take some measures for a better environment in the future. He also said that it's a difficult task but there are things that everyone can do and gave some successful examples from the United Kingdom where Climate Change is one of the four priorities in the country. The Hon. Ali Findik, Consul of Turkey and the Hon. Adsinar Bocek, Consul General of Panama were also present at the event. (December 16, 2008, Houston, TX)
