Congressman Culberson met with Turkic-American Community

Raindrop Forum in collaboration with Turquoise Council hosted Congressman John Culberson at a Town Hall Meeting. Congressman Culberson represents the 7th District of Texas, a seat formerly held by President George H. W. Bush and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Bill Archer. Congressman Culberson met with the community leaders from Turkic-American community and directed a speech to the audience. He talked about the several topics such as health care and border security;  (July 29, 2009, Houston, TX) mentioned that Turkey and the U.S. have been allies for many years.  Hon. Culberson said that he's a member of only three caucuses and one of them is Turkish caucus. He joined the caucus in April 2009.
