The official opening of Raindrop Turkevi-Austin took place on the sunny Tuesday of November 28. The Mayor of Austin, Will Wynn, cut the ribbon in front of a large distinguished guests. After the short speeches, guests tasted the delicious Turkish food, prepared by Turkish American Woman Association. Honorable South Korean Counsul General Kim Jung Keun, one of the participants of the upcoming trip to Turkey, has started learning Turkish. The Honorable Consul met the Turkish teacher, Mr. Mursel Celebi, the first time this week and found out that Mr. Celebi's father was a veteran of the Korean war.
