Raindrop Turkish House of Baton Rouge hosted its first Friday Social program on January 20, 2012. People from different occupations got together at this unique event.

This week's special was Cig Kofte (Raw Meatball). At the each program, different unique food, snack, or drinks which represents different aspects of Turkish culture are offered by the Raindrop Turkish House. Next program's specials are traditional Turkish coffee and Turkish delight. Come and join us for this great moment of time.

Culinary Art Courses Starts

Raindrop Turkish House of Baton Rouge continues offering culinary art courses. For the Spring-2012 Semester, every other Wednesday at 6pm the courses will offered by the experienced Turkish instructors.

Enrollment to each session is only $10.

Raindrop Helping Hands of Baton Rouge is running a book drive campaign for two universities; Zaman University in Cambodia and Nile University in Niger. Any used and new text books, encyclopedias, magazines, Periodicals, Dictionaries, etc. are accepted. Let us include more and more people to this book aid campaign. Eid Picnic

People gathered for the purpose of celebrating "Ed'ul Adha" on Sunday, November 6, 2011. Organized by the Raindrop Turkish House of Baton Rouge, Ed'ul Adha Picnic gathered many people around the special Qurban meal, Kavurma.

At the event, not only parents but also their kids had a wonderful time. Pony ride and jumping castle let kids to have an unforgettable moment of their life.
