Turkish Cuisine Receives Medal

turkish_raindrop_culture_cookingOrganized by the Baton Rouge Center for World Affairs, 12th Annual Cooking and Tasting Fair showcased many different worldwide dishes, including famous Turkish dessert, baklava on June 5th in EBR Museum. Hundreds of people including elected officials and media people had a chance to taste variety of different dishes.

Yasemin Ceyhan, joining the competition with delicious Turkish baklava, received the second placement medal. Ms. Ceyhan received the medal from the mayor Melvin “Kip” Holden.

At the event, Raindrop Turkish House in Baton Rouge let the participants know about the upcoming events that featuring Turkish cultures and, off course, the Turkish cuisine.
