Turkish House of Tulsa hosted Special Education Class of OSU

Raindrop Turkish House of Tulsa hosted a cultural exchange program on Tuesday, at 6 p.m. with the Special Education class of Oklahoma State University. Dr. Giacobbe and her students visited Raindrop Turkish House. They enjoyed Turkish cuisine and tea following a small presentation from the volunteers of Raindrop Turkish House. Presentation was about the Turkish community of Tulsa and the cultural activities of the Turkish House. Dr. Giacobbe stressed the importance of cultural exchange and the value it brings to Tulsa community. (April 30, 2009, Tulsa, OK)

The participants enjoyed the food, conversation and showed huge interest to Turkish food cooking classes, Turkish language classes and the Coffee Night.Raindrop Turkish House thanked Dr. Giacobbe and her students for their participation in the cultural exchange program.
