Police Day, Aug 7, 2010.jpg |
|
Dallas Raindrop Foundation has organized a Gyro Day benefitting
the Richardson Police Department and their
programming supporting a safe community. Policemen and Assistant Chief Silverster
were present during the event which helped to narrow the gap between Law
Enforcement officers and the community. Since this event was for the benefit
for the Police Department, people from all around the Metroplex came to
Turquoise Center with their kids. While parents enjoyed the delicious doner (gyro),
children enjoyed seeing and playing with police cars and with their accessories
such as sirens, handcuffs and lights of the police cars. Policemen gave each child
Junior Police Sticker which was more than enough for children to be happy. As a
Raindrop Foundation, we appreciate services of our Police officers not only to
our community, but also to our beautiful country, United States of America to
be safe. (August 7, 2010, Dallas, TX)
