Students who participated in I-SWEEEP visited Raindrop Turkish House. Raindrop Turkish House provided information about Turkish culture to students coming from different countries to participate in I-SWEEEP project competition. Students had chance to taste special foods from Turkish cuisine. Students had fun time in the game room with their teachers before presenting their projects. The IDSA organized its first Luncheon forum in Raindrop Turkish House. The mayor and city manager of College Station and chief of Bryan police department were our honored guests. The city manager of College Station, Glenn Brown, gave a speech about the city development and exchanged his ideas with us about how to build multicultural service in College Station. Raindrop Turkish House welcomes Ladies’ Coffee Nights at 7:00 pm on the first Saturday of every month. Ladies enjoy Turkish hospitality and rich culture; mix with Turkish people in a nice warm environment with stimulating conversation and delicious Turkish food! Of course, Turkish coffee is served.
