Raindrop Women Association regularly organizes Turkish Cuisine Classes. This class is open for everyone and participants learn how to cook soups, meals, desserts and other specialties of Turkish Cuisine.(February, 12, 2009, Houston, TX)
As part of our services to the community to become well integrated and updated about important issues, Raindrop held a seminar for parents about "How to prevent drug addiction at adolescent age?" with Houston Police Department Fondren Division.

Houston Controller Annise D. Parker spoke at Raindrop Morning Conversation Series. Ms. Parker, who has been working in the private and public sectors in Houston for over 20 years, laid out the problems and solutions of the fourth biggest city of the United States. Ms. Parker emphasized the international ties of Houston economy and their importance. She pointed out that because of this advantage, Houston economy feels the current economic crisis less than the rest of the country. Ms. Parker also answered the questions raised by the audience.
