Last Friday, Oklahoma City Raindrop Turkish House hosted one of the most spectacular events. The Turkish Coffee Night, which is held by ladies every month, brought around 70 ladies from the Oklahoma metro area. The theme of this month was "woman around the world." As the International Women's Day was celebrated around the world on March 8 every year, the audience found the theme very timely and interesting. Last Friday, Houston Petroleum Club was home to a very important event. Raindrop Turkish House organized and sponsored the Consular Corps of Houston (CCOH) luncheon in March where nearly 30 consulates were represented.
The keynote speaker of the event was the Hon. Hope Andrade, Texas Secretary of State. She gave a speech about "Texas economy and our international relationships" where she expressed how Texas is doing well even during the economic crisis and its huge exportation capacity.

As Raindrop Turkish House, we are happy to announce that the 3rd Annual Turkish Language Olympiad was a scene to many beautiful moments. Best individuals and groups who competed in preselections where thousands of students participated performed singing, folk dances, poetry and talent.
In this 3rd Olympiad, 300 finalists participated in 7 categories including singing, poetry, talent, picture and figure, folklore, and state exhibition
